Booking Information
The Middle
Eastern
Dance Club at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is always willing
to perform. We specialize in cabaret-style bellydance and other fusion
styles. If you would like us
to be a part of your next event, please contact us.
Please be aware
that there is no guarantee that we will have performers available for
the date and time of your event. We will do our best to accommodate
your requests, but please make all performance requests at least one
week prior to the date of your event. Not only will this increase
the likelihood we will have performers available, but it allows you
time to find other performers if we are unable to perform at your
event. There will be an additional $20 per dancer fee for any
performances with requests submitted less than one week prior to an
event.
Also please be aware that all private performances and workshops will
require
a signed contract prior to the performance/workshop between the Middle
Eastern
Dance Company and the hiring party, no exceptions.
For Non-Profit & Public
Events
We
are eager to perform
for you.
We do group performances for large audiences, on request.
For Private Parties,
Weddings, Social Gatherings, Birthdays, etc.
For Special occasions, private parties, and
similar events that call for specific dancers to perform for smaller
audiences, the dancers perform of their own free will, separate from
the Middle Eastern Dance Club at
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Performance are
prepared to suit any occasion.

or accept any events.
Workshop Information & Rates
A workshop is a 1 hour private lesson at a location,
date, and time of an individuals' choice that includes 2 Middle Eastern
Dance Company members that will be present for instruction.
Standard Package consisting of a 1 hour private lesson with 2
instructors = $50
Additional Instructors = $20 per instructor
Additional Instruction Time = $20 for every 30 minutes after the main
hour of instruction
Out of town travel is defined by TAMUCC as any student travel that is
beyond 25 miles from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The fees
for out of town travel will be determined on a workshop by workshop
basis and will take into account current gas prices and total travel
time.
If you would like to request a group workshop (a group is defined as 5
or more individuals), please contact us for more information. For group
workshops, we highly encourage the use of additional instructors to
ensure that each workshop participant will receive equal attention.
Performance Rates
Standard 1/2 Hour Rate = $30 per dancer for a 30 minute
block of time
Standard 1 Hour Rate = $60 per dancer for a 1 hour block of time
Booking Late Fee = $20 per dancer
Out of Town Travel Fee = To be determined at time of booking and will
take into account current gas prices and total travel time.
Fees that are collected goes towards transportation, costumes, music
and
props that the dancer(s) will provide for each event. If there are any
special requests regarding costumes, music, or props please make that
known when you call to book your event.

Bachelor Parties!
It should also be clear that upon any
occasion, the dancers reserve the right to bring a person of their
choice to act as a witness and bodyguard.
If any dancer is touched inappropriately, harassed, or feels threatened
or uncomfortable at any time, the dancer(s) reserve the right to leave
immediately, paid in full.
The Middle Eastern Dance Club @ TAMUCC does not perform at male only
events.
