REPUBLIC OF INDIA CELEBRATION 2005
India’s path to independent rule has been equally inspiring.
With a charismatic leader in the person of Mahatma Gandhi who waged Satyagraha, a unique non-violent campaign, India threw off the yoke of British rule on August 15, 1947. India declared itself a republic on January 26, 1950.
The Constitution was given shape by some of the finest minds of the country
who ensured the trinity of justice, liberty, and equality for the citizens of India.
